James is a Chattanooga multi-instrumentalist and music educator. He started playing classical violin at the age of 6 and has continued playing throughout his whole life, also learning to play jazz bass, drum set, and guitar.  Originally from Denver, Colorado, he honed his musicianship learning how to perform and teach for 10 years in New Orleans. He holds a degree from Tulane University.  In 2022 he moved to Tennessee to study Appalachian fiddle and country music. He performs regularly as a soloist and band member for several groups in the local area.
